There’s no denying that the current recruitment market is tight. There’s a lot of job ads out there, and there’s not enough candidates that are open to work to fill them.

Within each sector we are travelling ahead of the pack. We have 22% more clicks on our ads, 27% more application starts, and 34% more application completed in comparison to similar ads posted. 

What does this mean for our clients? 

When we take on and post your ads through Eight Recruitment on Seek, we’re 34% more likely to receive a completed application from a suitable candidate over similar ads. Which is a fairly big number. 

This means our ad optimisation techniques in addition to the Eight Recruitment branding is appealing to more candidates within the market than usual, and in turn resulting in more quality candidates for you to choose from. 

Not only is Eight fairing well on Seek but we’ve also been making an impact on LinkedIn. Although Eight doesn’t boast the quantity of roles that some National Newcastle recruiters do, we sure do have the quality over quantity box ticked. 

With data provided to us by LinkedIn, we can see that the people looking at our jobs on LinkedIn are 4.8% more likely to submit an application in comparison to our competitors. We know this as our View to Apply Rate sits at 14.1%, whereas our peers is 9.3%. 

Not to mention the 22k people who follow our brand on LinkedIn. With a margin of 7.5k more followers than our competitors, as a client you will be accessing Newcastle’s largest recruitment audience. As we post new jobs on our page, you’ll also have the advantage of having many more sets of eyes viewing your jobs than if it was another LinkedIn page.
